FAQ'S
I'M HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY OF THE QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE
I understand that choosing the right DJ is fundamentally important and could affect the success of your wedding, event, celebration or party.
I want to give you the information you need to make that decision and hope that these frequently asked questions will help you.
If you would like to meet up for a conversation to see what sets me apart from other DJs just ask. There are no pressure sales and there’s no obligation to book if you do not feel I am the right fit for you.
"What areas do you cover as a DJ and Mobile Disco?"
I can DJ anywhere in the UK and abroad. If Travel & Accomodation can be arranged.
"What types of event do you cover as a DJ and Mobile Disco?"
I’m an experienced and skilled DJ and can also act as a Master of Ceremonies so I’m happy to assist with any event where you need a skilled professional DJ or Party Host. I specialise in delivering outstanding weddings and am very experienced with all types of wedding celebrations and understand wedding protocols. I’ve worked on every kind of celebration imaginable and catered for all musical tastes so am comfortable with almost any requirements you have.
"What is your approach to providing DJ Entertainment?"
My performance as a DJ is polished and professional. My aim is to ensure you and your guests have the best time ever. I aim to create the right atmosphere that ensures your dance floor will be packed, by playing the right songs at the right time and to ensure they are mixed perfectly to maintain and build the energy on the dance floor.
"Do you mix the music as some DJs don't?"
I'm a skilled DJ and mix music to create high-quality seamless transitions between songs to maintain the energy and momentum on the dance floor. Mixing is something I do based on the tempo and “feel” of the songs and the reaction of your guests.
I don’t treat your wedding or event to test out remixes that no one recognise and I don’t treat every transition between songs as an opportunity to showcase different mixing techniques. I focus on making the perfect transition between each song, and building a DJ set that maximises the amount of energy, dancing and fun at your event!
"Can I select the music that you play?"
Of course! I’m happy to incorporate the music you request, and to mix it in a way that will create the kind of wedding or party you’ve dreamed of.
"Can you help us choose the music for our event?"
I’m an experienced DJ with extensive knowledge of music and music genre’s so you will benefit from this expertise when planning the music for your wedding or event. I am more than willing to provide you with a wide range of suggestions based on your preferences, and I’m equally comfortable selecting most (or all) of the music if you aren’t interested in doing so.
My knowledge of music enables me to work with your requests and create a great atmosphere for all of your guests. I love to take on any music “challenges,” whether combining multicultural musical styles or adapting unique or eclectic music tastes. I’m always available to answer questions or assist you in choosing the songs that will reflect your vision of your special day.
"How involved can I be in choosing the music?"
I encourage you to be as involved as you would like to be. Most of my clients place great value on music and have very distinct ideas about what they want to hear. If you would like to select every song, I’m happy to accommodate you. The majority prefer to discuss their preferences and have at least a few specific requests and some specific songs they really don’t want played. I pride myself in listening to what you want and providing guidance where appropriate. You can be assured that you won’t hear songs you have asked not to be played, or genres you’ve told us you don’t like.
"What kind of music do you have?"
I have a library of music with music from all decades and genres including international music. I constantly update my music collection to ensure that I can provide the songs that our clients and their guests are currently enjoying. I’m happy to purchase any commercially available song that I don’t already own, at no additional cost. I can also download songs on the fly where there is an internet connection and because of this, I can virtually guarantee that I will be able to accommodate any request.
"How much does it cost for a DJ and Mobile Disco?"
I create a custom quote for each wedding or event, and I’ll send you a detailed quotation based on the size of your event, availability and the date, time, and location of your wedding or event. I can't guarantee that I will be the lowest cost DJ but I can absolutely guarantee that I deliver outstanding value for money.
"Do you offer any special discounts for events?"
If I am currently running any promotions or special offers I will include them in my price quote. I will always give you my best price without you even needing to ask. I get asked to support various charities from time to time and whilst I can't provide my service for free I am happy to offer a discount on my normal fee if I'm available.
"Do you have DJ insurance?"
I carry full Public Liability Insurance policy of £10m. I’m happy to provide you or your venue with a copy of our insurance policy upon request.
"How do you dress for the event?"
As your DJ I will always dress smartly and appropriate for your event so that I blend in with your guests.
"When do you set up the DJ and Mobile Disco equipment?"
I always arrive on-site at least an hour and a half prior to the contracted start time of the wedding or event and earlier as necessitated by the setup requirements of your event. It takes around 45 minutes to set up the disco equipment.
"What kind of DJ and Mobile Disco equipment do you have?"
I use the highest quality sound and DJ controller and DJ equipment as well as a wide range of stunning computer controlled lighting fittings. You will not find cheap lighting effects and poor quality sound equipment as used by many budget DJs.
